Our grandparents and their grandparents have made Bone Broth for hundreds of years due to its traditional use as an elixir for the unwell. Often referred to as ‘chicken soup for the soul’, our broth contains naturally occurring nutrients such as Vitamin D, B Vitamins and Zinc that may support immune health with the added benefits of traditional Chinese adaptogenic mushrooms. Leading busy lives can make it hard to find time to make broth from scratch.
As part of a balanced diet, our Bone Broth naturally loads Traditional Chinese mushrooms, essential vitamins, and minerals that support health. Vitamin D and Zinc are essential for supporting our immune system and also contributes to cell protection from free radicals. B Vitamins help our metabolism, which will also enable the body to utilise the energy we get from food, and assist with tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin B12 also helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue whilst supporting immunity.
We add chicken bones to filtered water and apple cider vinegar to maximize nutrient extraction, then slow cook them for over 12 hours. Next, we strain the broth for impurities and skim the fat off the top. Finally, we gently refractance window dry it into a powder, taking care to preserve the nutritional profile.
