Baking Tips:

Baking this delicious Cacao, Banana and Choc Chip Bread is straightforward, but a few tips can help ensure it turns out perfectly. To check if it’s done, insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, your bread is ready. To prevent the chocolate chips from sinking to the bottom, toss them in some flour before adding them to the batter. This helps keep them evenly distributed.

Nutritional Benefits:

Bananas, the star of this recipe, are a great source of potassium, which is essential for heart health and maintaining healthy blood pressure. The addition of cacao provides antioxidants, giving your body a boost of protective compounds. It’s not just tasty; it’s a treat for your health!

Get creative with your recipe:

You can try using whole wheat flour instead of an almond meal for a different texture and a more robust, nutty flavour. If you want to make it a bit healthier, consider substituting the chocolate chips with dried fruits or nuts. Walnuts or dried cranberries can be excellent choices.
